3 Ways to Wear Jeans & Booties
Share
Our go-to fall outfit will forever be jeans and boots. It's super easy to grab and go whether you're running errands or getting cocktails. Tall riding boots never go out of style, but lately booties have been trending.
How to style booties can sometimes be tricky. Here are three tips on how to wear booties with jeans -
1. Roll the cuff of your jeans just above your booties to show them off.
If you're a skinny jean girl, change it up from just tucking your hem into your bootie. Cuff the hem to right above the ankle. This gives you some jean versatility to cuff your straight leg or boyfriend jeans too. If you decide to rock your boyfriend jeans, pair them with a high-heeled bootie for a feminine flair.
2. Fold the hem of skinny jeans under.
If your jeans are too long to really show off your booties, tuck the hem under, so that the fold is invisible. This works best on cigarette legs and will look like you’ve had your jeans tailored to the perfect length, rather than cuffed. Tip: Iron the cuff before you put them on to make sure the crease stays sharp and flat all day.
3. Go monochromatic.
If it’s longer legs you’re after (aren't we all), then choose boots the same color as your denim. This is an easy way to make your legs appear leaner and longer, and works best when you also choose a high-heeled boot. Try it out with our AG Leather Leggings and Corso Como Radiant suede bootie.
